Before his dispute with Sony, trombonist Willie Colón recorded a series of Grammy-nominated salsa albums throughout the ‘90s, including 1993’s Hecho En Puerto Rico which features many of the Fania All-Stars. The ballad “Cueste Lo Que Cueste” was written by Puerto Rican poet Janette Becerra and arranged by pianist Isidro Infante.
